Honduras is country with great natural beauty- Caribbean beaches, cloud forests and picturesque villages. However it is also a country with some big problems- poverty (44% of the population live on less than US$2 day, 21% on less than US$1), crime and corruption. Large amounts of money are channeled into Honduras through international loans and aid, yet the problems remain.

In conjunction with Special Missions Foundation, Inc, projecthonduras.com stages an annual conference in Copan Ruinas, Honduras, for the express purpose of encouraging networking and partnership between organizations and individuals working in Honduras.
