Wrapping up
No, not Christmas presents (although I hope to be doing that soon too!), but my data collection here in Honduras. It looks like we will be travelling back to New Zealand in early February, with a stop in Savannah, Georgia for a conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work, where I will be participating in a Doctoral Colloquium. This leaves me with a couple of months to finish the work I need to do here in Honduras, although email and other online conversations may continue beyond that. Having a very fast approaching deadline is very motivating, and so I have been busy this week contacting those who I haven’t managed to talk to over the past few months, as well as others who have more recently come to my attention. If you receive an email or call from me in the next few weeks I hope you will be willing to help me, your voice is important in this study. Of course, if I haven’t contacted you and you have a story, or thoughts about projecthonduras.com it doesn’t mean I am not interested, I would still appreciate your participation. Feel free to contact me on this website or by emailing smclennan (at) hondurasresearch (dot) net.
I have also been hoping to start writing this month, and even have some thoughts sketched out for a first chapter or two of my thesis. Al the moment finishing up with interviews and visits here in Honduras is my priority, but I still plan to try and get some time to start writing. I also hope in the process to add some excerpts here for your interest, and to get feedback on what you think, so keep watching this space! There should be more to be ‘un-wrapped’ here sometime soon.
