Back to my desk

After a very successful trip to the North Coast I am back in Zamorano with a pile of notes and a voice recorder full of interesting interviews. Thank you so much to those who agreed to speak to me, and who welcomed me into their homes, offices and workplaces. It was a pleasure and a privilege to meet with you and see what you are doing. There are certainly some very big and kind hearts on the North Coast and Islands.
Thank you also to those who are participating from a distance. I know it takes a lot of time and effort for busy to respond to my email questions, but I have had some very thoughtful and insightful answers. All this helps to make my study richer and fuller, and more representative of what you are doing.

My daughter is starting pre-kinder this week (and very excited she is too) so we will be staying close to home until the conference in September. I hope to start catching up with people who are working in and near Tegucigalpa, Zamorano and Danli (those I can reach on a day or afternoon trip!) over the next few weeks. I am also continuing with email and online  interviews, for those who I will be unable to travel and see, or who prefer this medium for communication.  If you are in Fco Morazan or El Paraiso, or are happy to answer email questions please contact me.  I’d love to hear about your work, and your thoughts on projecthonduras.com.
