Hola from La Ceiba
Just a quick note to let you all know I am on the North Coast, mostly for research puposes but also to catch up with friends and to have a couple of days on the beach. We drove all the way to La Ceiba on Wednesday, although we had planned to stop for a couple of visits en route, we decided to press on to La Ceiba to avoid planned strikes and potential roadblocks. in the end we had an uneventful, if long journey, with the biggest hold up being road works between Tegus and SPS.
We are here in La Ceiba until Tuesday, then off to Roatan for a few days. We will then head back to Tegus, with stops in El Progreso and Cofradía.
